Kenneth L. Baker January 16, 1938 - November 21, 2011 Kenneth Loie Baker of Waco passed away Monday, November 21, 2011. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Kenneth was born January 16, 1938, in Austin, Texas, to L.G. and Kittie Baker. He graduated from Waco High and SMU and owned Baker Insurance until 1994. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and had a great sense of humor. Kenneth was a member of Highland Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren, Dustin Beau Baker and Sarah Deibler. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Christel Baker; two sons, Mark Baker and wife, A.J., of Waco; and Phil Baker and wife, Patricia, of Katy, TX; grandchildren, Amanda, Mark, Kristina, Jordan, Alex and Andrew; several great grandchildren; and his brother, Don Baker and wife, Charlie, of Woodway.
