Kenneth M. Waterman, 73, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at University Park Nursing Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Linton, IN, Kenneth was an attorney for 33 years, retiring in 1998. He received his BA degree from the University of Michigan and law degree Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University Law School, Bloomington IN. Past Master of Maumee Lodge, 33rd degree, Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine, York Rite, Royal Order of the Jesters and an attorney for the Boy Scouts of America. Kenneth also practiced with Baker and Daniels. He served 20 years in the Navy Reserves Judge Advocate Generals Corp (JAG). Surviving are his wife, Kay Waterman of Fort Wayne, IN. sons, Jeffrey M. (Yvette) Waterman of Indianapolis, IN, and John R, (Alyssa Doolittle) Waterman of East Burke, VT. 5 grandchildren . Kenneth was preceded in death by parents, J. Wayne and Edith Waterman, and sister, Lynn Breitweiser. Funeral Service is Saturday, 1:00 pm, January 28, 2012 at - D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with officiating. Calling Friday 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at the funeral home with a Masonic service at 7:30 pm. Burial in Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, Indiana.
