Kenneth "Rock" Hugaert, 74, of Moline, IL died Sunday, February 19, 2012 from complications following heart surgery at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, IA.

Memorial Services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory,Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

Kenneth was born on December 16, 1937 in Moline, IL the son of Maurice and Juanita (Cannell) Hugaert. He married Beatrice Massie on August 10, 1962 in Moline, IL. "Rock" worked as a Pipefitter for Local 25 and retired in 1995. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, "Rock" shared his faith with others for 40 years. He enjoyed reading newspapers from around the world, following the Illini Collegiate sports programs, and weightlifting. Kenneth was the Protector of and Provider for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry; nephew, Scott; nieces, Diane and Heather.
