Mr. Kenneth Wayne Miller, Jr. of Harrisburg, Arkansas, departed this life Sunday Night, December 6, 2009, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 39. He was born August 26, 1970 in Ocean Port, New Jersey, the son of Kenneth Wayne Miller, Sr. and Joyce Williams Miller. He was a self employed carpenter and of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed fishing with his wife Patti and was a big NHRA fan. He was lovingly referred to as Pappaw by his grandchildren and will be forever missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Patti Marshall Miller of the home, his father and step mother, Kenneth Wayne Miller, Sr. and Jane Miller of Southaven, Mississippi, his mother Joyce Williams Miller of Searcy, Arkansas, one son, Christopher Miller of Wynne, Arkansas, one stepson, Adam Marshall of Harrisburg, Arkansas, one stepdaughter, Katie Marshall of Harrisburg, Arkansas, two brothers, Robert Miller of Benton, Arkansas and Johnny Miller of Winona, Minnesota, one sister, Kerrie Doane of Searcy, Arkansas, two grandsons, Evan Henley and Eli Henley, both of Harrisburg, Arkansas, nephews, John Doane, Aaron Doane, Landon Doane, Jayden Branyan, and Kyle Miller, and nieces, Ashlynn Branyan and Rebecca Miller, and his dog Mandy Ann.

Funeral services will be Thursday, at 1:00 p.m., at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, with Gary Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in Crosslawn Cemetery at Wynne.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday Evening, 6:00 till 8:00 p.m.

Jeff Foster, Johnny Andrews, Johnny Andrews, Jr., Kenneth Tucker, Butch Webb and Danny Metcalf will serve as pallbearers.

Those wishing to send memorials are asked to consider St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.
