Kevin Simpson, 21, of Lake Anna, Virginia, formerly of Manassas, passed away Saturday morning, January 24, 2009 as the result of an automobile accident in the city of Manassas.

Simpson was a 2005 graduate of Osbourn Park High School, Manassas where he lettered in football for four years and was Co-Captain of the team his senior year when he was named the team's MVP. He then moved to Lake Anna soon after his graduation where he was introduced to the real estate world. He earned his license in 2007 and became a Realtor, joining the firm of Lake Anna Island Realty. In addition to being an avid Washington Redskins fan, Kevin enjoyed both hunting and fishing.

His generous heart and compassionate nature served as a model to all. Kevin, or "Kevie" as he was called by all who loved him, was known as the "helping hand" of the Lake Anna area. His loss is immeasurable.

Kevin is survived by his father, Kevin H. Simpson and wife Lisa, of Leesburg, VA; his mother, B Lukstat Simpson and husband John, of Manassas, VA; one sister, Virginia C. Lukstat Jr. and wife Wendy and their daughter Kristin; Jeff Simpson and wife Jenny and their children Sean, Missy and Jessie and Ellis Simpson and his children Daniel, Carl and Chris and one aunt, Pat Endicott and husband Ron and their daughter Stephanie.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 29, 2009. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg, Virginia.
