Kim Gerard Samas, 54, of South Euclid, OH, passed away April 14, 2012. Kim was born on December 14, 1957 to Ernest and Marilyn Samas. She grew up in Shaker Heights with her two brothers, Ernie, Jr. and Eric. Kim always had a passion for helping others and served over 20 years as a registered nurse. Although she loved her job as a nurse, her greatest love was being a mother. Kim joyfully welcomed her first born daughter, Ali, into this world and soon knew that Ali would need a friend, and so came along her beloved son, Luke. Several years later, Kim would be blessed with two more beautiful daughters, Lauren and Nikki. Along with being an amazing mother, Kim got to experience the joys of being a "MawMaw" to her sweet little "huggabug," Kevin. Kim was a Christian with a strong love for God and all of his creatures. Kim never turned her back on her furry friends and treated every living thing with kindness. She loved to cook for her family and friends, gave the most thoughtful gifts, and always kept the doors to her warm and cozy house open. Kim was a friend to many and a stranger to none. She loved with her whole heart and soul. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, tight hugs, and infectious smile. Kim will remain in our thoughts and hearts and will be dearly missed. Preceding her in death were her parents Ernest and Marilyn Samas and her brother Eric Samas. Kim leaves to cherish her memories, 4 children, Alexandrea "Ali" Wilson (Steve), Luke Smith, Lauren and Nicole "Nikki" Cizmadia; grandson, Kevin McCoy, III; brother, Ernest "Ernie" Samas, Jr.; and a circle of loving relatives and friends.
