Kimiko Dawn Moon, 43, of Easton, Pennsylvania departed this life on January 4, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with her family by her side. She was born on October 10, 1967 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Phyllis M. Nelson-Moon and John E. Moon, Jr. Kimiko was educated in the Avenel and Piscataway, New Jersey public school systems and graduated from Piscataway High School. Later she attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey where she studied criminal justice. She lived in Hollywood, Florida for several years prior to moving back to Easton, Pennsylvania three years ago. She was employed by Square One Markets, Inc. in Easton. Kimiko, whose name means Flower Child in Japanese was better known as "Jazzy" to her family and friends. She was passionate about fashion, loved to travel and had a particular fascination with Disney World. Kimiko leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved mother, Phyllis M. Nelson-Moon of Easton, PA; father, John E. Moon, Jr. of Somerset, NJ; stepmother, Thelma J. Moon of Somerset, NJ; brother, Christopher Sean Moon of Easton, Pa; sisters, Gayle Meadows of Atlanta, GA and Falon Morton of Toledo, OH.; stepsister, Sheila Coleman of Somerset, NJ; stepbrother, Kevin Camon of Somerset, NJ; nephews, Marqis D. Moon of Easton, PA, Christopher Sean Moon, Jr. of Washington, NJ, and Malachi A. Mann of Easton, PA; aunts, Belinda McGhee, Patricia Ransome (Phil) of Linden, NJ, Barbara Clay of Roselle, NJ; uncle, Derek Clay of Linden, NJ; great aunts, Velma J. Sumner of Atco, NJ and Georgeann Sligh of Prosperity, SC; beloved cousin, Tykema S. Harris-Jones of Newark, NJ; godson, Senior Airman Rodney L. Williams, Jr. of Alamogordo, New Mexico; closest and best friend Caprise Keets-McLemore of Plainfield, NJ and a host of cousins and devoted friends. Kimiko was preceded in death by aunt, Robin Harris and uncle, Bennie E. Moon (Darlene). She will be dearly missed by family and friends, but leaves behind an abundance of memories of her love.
