Kristopher Scott Grandi, age 28, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away on Friday, September 9th 2011 in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Kris was born on July 10, 1983, in Malden, one of four children of Cheryl J. (Wilson) and Duane Grandi.

His childhood years were spent in Medford where he lived with his family until the age of 9. The Grandis then moved to Nashua, New Hampshire where Kris attended and graduated from Nashua High School, Class of 2001. During high school, he began working for Stop & Shop in the meat department. He worked for the last 8 years as a meat cutter for Stop & Shop, most recently on South Willow Street.

Kris will be remembered for his love of sports. He loved all Boston teams, especially the Red Sox. For a period of time he played on the softball team for the Church of the Nazarene in Melrose. Kris also enjoyed fantasy sports, which he and his father loved playing together.

Kris was the beloved and cherished son of Cheryl J. (Wilson) and Duane Grandi of Nashua, NH. He was the loving brother of Jennifer R. Foskitt of Melrose, Kristyn Grandi of Manchester, NH, and Matthew Grandi of Nashua, NH. Cherished grandson of Sandra and Robert Peters of Melrose, and the late Evelyn and Frank Wilson. Dear nephew of Caren and Paul Blasi of Saugus, Catherine Mattera of Nashua, NH, Scott and Vicki Grandi of Billerica, Mark and Kelly Grandi of Everett, Robyn and Kris Wilson of Melrose and Nicole Waters of Malden. Loving uncle of Tyler Foskitt of Melrose. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Kyrene Sepulveda of AZ, his longtime best friend, Chad Barlow of Nashua, NH, and many loving cousins.

Funeral Service to remember and honor Kris' life at the Church of the Nazarene, Short St., Melrose on Tuesday, September 13 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St, Melrose, on Monday from 4-8 PM. Gifts in Kris' name may be made to CAB Health & Recovery Services, 111 Middleton Rd. Danvers, MA 01923.
