My Mother, Jesper Bush & myself had the privledge to know this sweet angel.
When my Mom moved in at Golden Years next door to Marci she made sure to make her feel welcome & teach her all the ropes of this senior living.Such a wondeful neighbor. They shared many laughs together. We are sad to just hear of her passing but wanted to write. Sending our sincere & heartfelt sympathy.

I WAS A SALES ASSOCIATE WITH MARCIE AT BANKS MALLOUGH. SHE WAS WITH THE SOUTH OFFICE AND I WAS AT THE NORTH. I HAD BEEN TO HER HOME SEVEREAL TIMES TO DO SOME ODD JOBS. MARCIE WAS A GREAT LADY AND ALSWYS WITH A SMILE. SHE NEVER SAID A CROSS WORD. I WENT OUT TO VISIT HER AFTER SHE MOVED INTO GOLDEN YEARS. BUT NOT OFTEN ENOUGH. SHE WAS GREAT. TOM

To the family and friends of Marci I extend my deepest sympathies. I do not have the long ago memories of many of you but I have new memories of Marci in this last year. She always had a smile for me and I thoroughly enjoyed caring for her at Golden Years Homestead. God bless you sweet one!!

Marci fiils soo many memories for this only child who was Kay's good friend...I am not sure where to start. First of all, Marci was" Motzie Motz-gettie" nick name for me. Forrest was 'Forrie". I really can't rememebr any 2 people who were more loving and calm..anywhere in my childhood memory.( Pretty good for a present day psycholigist!! HA). Marci was always happy and welcoming with open arms. She was Raggedy Ann at Halloween. Kay was the scarecrow..wonderful costume made

I had to keep "restuffing" Kay's straw as she walked alond. Reminds me now of the scene from"To KIll a Mocking Bird"..but. ,,we had no bad guys following us around. I passed the apple sauce at a family dinner at the McClead's... when the bowel was for me alone.( Kay understands this anology...my Dad ate'bird' portions of food!) Kay needed her hot dogs burned...which, Motzie always did for her. Think it had something to do with Motzie's cooking. However, I rememebr her pasta dish..ergo..'The Motzie Motzie" illusion, as one of the best I ever had! She kept in contact with me..every year after my Mother died, I received a beautiful letter from her at Christmas. Her ballon to Mom was in my Mother's hospital room when Mom died. Marci wqas a constant loving, supportive, happy, sane woman.I was so proud of her becoming a broker latter in her life. She was really something! I will always remember you precious Motzie. You were the BEST to me. I know you were soo proud of your great children..and Grandkids..and wonderful son-in-law. You dersrved it ALL!!! Forever..and ever...Love from Me, Jan..my parents, Fran and Bob, and my daughter Emily..and all of the Shih tzu's I have had in my life..thanks to YOU!!!

We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of Marci. She was our realtor back in 1980-81 when we purchased our first and only home. She gave us a house warming gift of a ceramic lighted "house" that we still have as a night light on a book stand in our entrance way. We have always thought fondley of her - and always will. She was a sweetheart and a wonderful lady to know.

Dad (Marvin E. Glidewell) and his sister Marci were both pranskers and lovers of fun growing up. We kids got the "laugh" that originally belonged to Marvin and Marci. I, too, remember the delicious and special Thanksgiving dinners at Marci and Forrest's house; but I also remember the apartment over the first veterinary clinic that Forrest had....the old brick building on Superior St. I think. They had a collie dog named Flicka. I remember looking forward to seeing and petting

She was quick minded and could spring a joke with the expertise of a pro-comedian. Her memory of many things in the distant past was surprising and full of detail. Marci was a nurturing mother, a gracious hostess, and a friend to virtually everyone she ever met. You can bet she'll be missed. Roger Glidewell- Nephew.

When I camped out on top of barb beal's hill and ate green beans from our garden, I could see marcie walking up and down the width of the living room and it made me feel like I was home with them. I always loved the opportunity. She had a zest for what should be best in life and what is the best that people should expect for themselves and out of others..and the absurd which is what is real she could always see..that bathing cap in the pictures with the white fringe on it I can remember so vividly as she wore it to all of our gravel pit excursions..i always liked those bathing caps and Ihave isntant recall..she encouraged us to build the rafts and floot in the backyard when it was overstrewn with water from the rains..and every midnite eating trip in kitchens at lake cottages I am sure she knew that Kay and I did..we yawned and sighed to mask our noise. That grin when she started to laugh in thre of those pictures caught Marcie in action.. i will remeber to laugh more and see the fun and adventure and possible joke in my interactions with your passing,Marcie I love you Nancy Hill
