L. Marceleen "Marci" McClead, 94, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 at Golden Years Homestead. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was born November 27, 1917. Marci worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's veterinary practice and as a realtor with Ross LaMar and Sons and Coldwell Banker Banks Mallough. She was past President of the Indiana Veterinary Women's Auxiliary, President and active member of Tri-Kappa Sorority, Delta Gamma and Delta chapters, and a jubilee member of First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her loving family; son, Michael "Mickey" (Rena) McClead; daughter, Kay (Wally) Nims; 4 Grandchildren, Heather Willison, Brittany Linder, Caira Hoggatt, and Michael McClead. Also, surviving are 8 great-grandchildren. Marci was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Forrest McClead.

A celebration of her life will be held from 3- 6 pm on Tuesday, June 12 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue . Memorials may be made to the Fort Wayne Animal and Control or Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund. To sign the online guest book, go to www.mccombandsons.com.
