Larry A. Jester, 47, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 4:07 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2012, in his home, after a long battle with cancer. Larry was born on June 15, 1965 in Buford, SC and had lived in South Bend most of his life. He had been employed for 12 years with Steel Warehouse as a Supervisor. On September 15, 2005, in South Bend, IN, he married Elizabeth K. Hall, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Ashley (Ian Crocker) Jester, Megan Jester, and Jessica Slocum all of South Bend, IN; four sons, Sean Dunnick of Kewanna, IN, Eric Dunnick of Indianapolis, IN, Adam Jester and Steven Jester both of South Bend, IN; two grandchildren, Caden and Bradley Needham of Niles, MI; his parents, Mary and Larry Jester of South Bend, IN; his step-parents, Betty Jean Groppe and Jim Gardner of South Bend, IN; two sisters, Lori (Kevin) Mills of South Bend, IN and Becky (Jason Beam) Jester of South Bend, IN; three brothers, Jim (Laurie) Jester , Scott (Sherri) Jester and Greg (Joanne) Jester all of South Bend, IN; his mother-in-law, Susan Hall of Mishawka, IN; his father-in-law, Michael Hall of South Bend, IN; one sister-in-law, April (Howard Northern) Hall of South Bend, IN; and one brother-in-law, Adam (Dorie) Hall of Buchanan, MI. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 10, 2012 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Friends may call from 2 until 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Larry had attended the former LaSalle High School. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of Z.B. Falcons where he previously served on the Board of Directors, and a member of the United States Patriots Motorcycle Club. He loved to camp and fish with his family.
