Larry Dean Ashby, 65, of Beckley passed away October 19, 2011.
Born August 15, 1946 in Sophia to the late William and Eva Dickenson Ashby.
Larry was a coal miner, and retired from the Beckley Area Medical Center as a Medical Assistant, he attended the Open Bible Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Steve, and Norville Ashby and a sister, Effie Weddle.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 39 years, Ann Ashby; a son, Richard Ashby and wife, Lisa Ashby of Beckley; three grandchildren, Kaden, Logan, and Tyler; two brothers, Lester and Jarrell Ashby of Coal City; two sisters, Phyllis Ann Lambert and Loretta Horton both of Sophia; brother-in-law, Charles Dickerson, Jr of Fayetteville; sister-in-law, Sharon Richards of Fayetteville; extended family and friends.
In keeping with Larry's wishes there will be no services.
