Larry H. Wachtman, 67, of Loveland died on November 26, 2010 at home. He was born on November 18, 1943 in Wichita, KS, to Henry F. and Pauline (DeVault) Wachtman. He graduated from McPherson High School in 1961 and earned his business degree at Kansas State University in 1966. He married Kay Sager in McPherson, KS, on June 4, 1967. They lived in Wichita and Overland Park, KS and then moved to Colorado in 1976. He worked for Reynolds Aluminum for 20 years and ABC Signs until he retired in 2009. He loved to golf, the Broncos, the Rockies, the Kansas State Wildcats, all sports, working in the yard, spending time with family and especially his granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Kay Wachtman of Loveland; sons, Kirk (Holly) Wachtman of McPherson, KS, and Kevin (Megan) Wachtman of Loveland; two grandchildren, Sophia (age 3) and Khloe (16 months) Wachtman, both of Loveland; brother, Phil Wachtman; sister, Susan Anderson and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Inurnment Resthaven Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S. Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
