Lawrence "Larry" Joseph Guidi, 68 was born in Stockton, CA October 20, 1942 and passed away August 28, 2011. Larry was a 1960 graduate of Stagg High School. He had also been in the National Guard, a member of the Franklin Syndicate and a member of the Italian Athletic Club. Larry was the owner for many years of San Joaquin Display Company, Delta Liquor and Gaines Liquor. He was the beloved husband of Karen Guidi and a devoted father of Joseph (Sherry) Guidi and Aaron (Tara) Guidi. He was the loving Nono of Luciano, Cianna, Jiovanna, Darianna, Giuseppe, Evan, Della Rose, brother-in-law of Gary and Darlene Adams and a loving nephew of Pierina Malanca. Larry is also survived by many loving cousins, including Randy and Chris Guidi, Robert and Margaret Guidi and Doreen Zaragoza. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Rose Guidi.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at the Cathedral of the Annunciation, corner of Rose and Van Buren Sts., Stockton, CA on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
There will be no visitation. DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA in charge of arrangements.
Larry's family suggests memorial contributions inhis memory be made to Red Rhino Orphanage Project, P.O. Box 693717, Stockton, CA 95269.
