Lavern Stone,
Six Mile, SC
Watson Lavern Stone, 69, of 3516 Walhalla Highway, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011.
Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Leon and Inez Ellenburg Stone.
Mr. Stone was the owner of Stone Logging and was of the Church of God faith.
Surviving is his companion, Sonja Bowen of the home; a son, Jeffery Laverne Stone of Six Mile; two sisters, Linda Stone and Judy Reid (Ronald) all of Six Mile; and a brother, Elton Stone (Barbara) of Six Mile.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with burial to follow in Gap Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home.
