Lawrence "Boomer" Kulikowski, 73, of Albion, died May 31, 2012 at home. He was born on March 2, 1939 the son of Mike and Theodora (Barwheat) Kulikowski in Albion. "Boomer" was known for his sense of humor and cherished spending time with his family, especially cookouts. He also enjoyed camping, auto racing, gardening, and spending time outdoors. He is survived by his wife Janice "Kay" (Fox); son, Larry (Sherrell) Kulikowski; daughter, Chris Pieske all of Albion; sisters, Pauline Passic of Albion, Sophia Cobb of Success, Arkansas; brothers, Ernie Kulikowski, Walt Kulikowski both of Albion; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Teresa Kulikowski; sisters, Stella and Teddy; brothers, Joe, Julius, Mike, Victor, Casper, Stanley, and George. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may to go charity of one's choice. The family is being served by Shaw Funeral Home. www.shawfuneralhome.com
