Mr. Lawrence Tam was born on August 30, 1957 in Hong Kong. He died of a heart attack on November 1, 2009. He was 52. Larry was greatly loved by his parents and was the favorite of his great-grandmother. In 1969, the Tam family immigrated to the United States. Larry was a very responsible child. Apart from tending to his studies, he worked in the restaurant to help his parents. As an outstanding young man, Larry received his wings on February 25, 1985 and had every intention of becoming an airline pilot. However, realizing that his parents wanted to open their own restaurant, Larry willingly laid aside his dreams and together with his older brother and younger brother, and under the guidance of his parents, established Tam's Cuisine as a very successful business. In 1997, he married Jennie Lee and they had two wonderful daughters, Cynthia and Christina. He was a responsible husband and a loving father who provided for his family and they would take frequent trips together. Although, Larry is no longer with them, his love for them will always remain in their hearts. Larry leaves behind his wife, Jenny and daughters; Cynthia and Christina; his mother, So Wan Yip Tam; older sister, Sharon and brother-in-law, Samuel Tam; older brother, Stephen and sister-in-law, Ying; second older sister, Sharlene, younger sister, Sandi and younger brother, Allen.
