Leah Pontek, 93, of Jensen Beach, Florida died April 3, 2011 at Treasure Coast Hospice – Harper House, Stuart, Florida.
Born in Keeler, Michigan, she had been a resident of Stuart for 25 years coming from Lansing, Michigan.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Stuart Congregational Church.
Survivors include a son Robert Pontek of Jensen Beach; daughter-in-law, Mary Pontek and three grandchildren,Blair Pontek of Stuart, Lisa Cohen of Forsyth, GA, and Dan Kelsay of Stuart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Pontek and three brothers, Warren, Roland and Don Arent.
SERVICES: There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends beginning at 11:00 AM with a Remembrance Service at 11:30 AM on April 7, 2011 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes – Young and Prill Chapel with Rev. Randy Hase officiating. Inurnment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing, MI at a later date.
