Lee Roland Jones

72, of Camby, IN died October 28, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident. Lee was born October 7, 1940 in Revelo, KY to Dewey and Crecy Jones. He graduated in 1959 from McCreary Co. High School in Whitley City, KY. Lee proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He retired from GM in 1995 and was the principal and a teacher at House of Prayer Tabernacle, where he was also an Elder. He is survived by his wife Janet, his son Bob (Lanette) Jones, daughters Pamela Sterrett and Angela (Jerry) Moore, grandchildren, Joshua Sterrett, Lauren and Carson Jones, Abby , Emma and Sara Moore, siblings Jeneve Lawson, Juanita Griffing, Genevieve Nettles, Paul, Dale and Ralph Jones. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers James Jones and Carl Jones. Friends may call Friday November 2 from 4-8 PM in Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 PM in the funeral center will burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
