Lee Roy Harris, 84 ,of Gates, TN, died Friday (June 29, 2012) at his residence.
Born in Haywood Co., he was the son of the late Bill and the late Teli Frances (Wilson) Harris.
Mr. Harris owned and operated Harris Service Station for over 27 years.
Mr. Harris was a member of Gates Methodist Church
He is survived by his wife: Shirley (Shephard) Harris, two daughters: Angie Gitchell of Gates, TN, and Amy Jacobs of Atoka, TN, as well as, two sons: Bill Harris of Halls, TN, and Rob Harris of Gates, TN
Mr. Harris leaves 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Micheal Leroy Harris, and his Sister, Marie Tipps
Friends may call Sunday (June 30,2012) from 5-8 at Halls Funeral Home, 109 N. Church St., Halls, TN.
Funeral service will be held Monday (July 2, 2012) at 10:00 am at Halls Funeral Home, 109 N. Church St., Halls
Interment will be Monday in Concord Cemetery, Gates.
