Lemuel Robert Cartwright Sr

Mr. Lemuel Robert "Bob" Cartwright, Sr. age 58 a resident of 10888 NC Highway 99 South, Bath NC went to be the Lord on Wednesday September 14, 2011.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens in Washington officiated by Pastor James Allen Harmon. The family will receive friends following the service at the gravesite.

Mr. Cartwright was born in Belhaven, NC March 8, 1953 the son of the late Lemuel Aulbert Cartwright and Shirley Paul Cartwright. He graduated from Bath High School. Mr. Cartwright married Sylvia Smith who survives on May 15, 1984. Lemuel was a long distance truck driver and enjoyed seeing many new places on his journeys. He had a great love for the water which he grew up on especially when fishing, crabbing or just enjoying its surroundings. Most of all his best times in life were the times he spent with his family.

Along with his wife Sylvia he is survived by one son, Lemuel Robert Cartwright, Jr and wife Elizabeth of St. Petersburg, FL; two daughters, Crystal D. Cartwright and Alexis Cartwright of Bath, NC, and a brother Michael Paul of Bath, NC. He was preceded in death by a brother Louis Cartwright.

Pamlico Funeral and Cremation Service of Washington is serving the Cartwright family.
