Lena Theresa (Trifone) Boutiette, 88 of South Grafton Massachusetts passed away Monday September 19th surrounded by family in Saint Vincent's Hospital, Worcester after a brief illness. Lena was predeceased by her husbands, Edward Boutiette of South Grafton and R. George Pelletier of Worcester. She leaves her loving family of five daughters, Barbara O' Brien and her husband William of Oxford, Patricia Mercier and her husband Francis of Webster and Fort Meyers Florida, Sandra Pigaga and her husband John of Worcester, Bernadette Scott and her husband Donald of Auburn, Georgette LeMay and her husband Stephen of Grafton, Ma. Lena leaves 15 grandchildren Cheryl, Linda, John, William, James, Lynnann, Lisa, Michelle, Kimberly, John III, Kristina, Christopher, Michael, Alexis and Gabriella. She also leaves 18 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She leaves her sister Elizabeth (Betty) LaMountain of Charlton, MA and Cape Coral Florida and her brother Joseph Aramini of Palm Harbor Florida. She leaves many nieces and nephews. She will be terribly missed by her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She was born in Charlton MA to the late Paul Trifone and Mary Bucharelli and was one of ten brothers and sisters. Lena lived many years in Charlton and Worcester before moving to South Grafton. Lena was extremely proud of the fact that she worked for Lutco Tool Company in Worcester as a Quality Control Inspector for over 59 years until illness finally forced her to retire on April 1st this year. Even in her later years at Lutco, Lena was the one that many times set the piece rates of new jobs and personally worked on specific jobs critical to certain key customers. She was on the Safety Committee and was also one of the key players in the attainment of ISO 9000 certification. She was honored by the President of Lutco Tool, John Stowe, upon her retirement as the longest working employee ever of the company. Lena was very proud of her service to the company. Lena was also a very active bowler many years ago belonging to many leagues in the Worcester area. In her later years she took great joy in her family and many grandchildren. She also enjoyed passing time doing word search puzzles and watching game shows. In lieu of flowers her family requests memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.St.Jude.org. CALLING HOURS & FUNERAL MASS Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday September 21st from 5 to 8pm at RONEY FUNERAL HOME 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church in North Grafton, MA on Thursday September 22nd at 11:00am. Lena will be buried at a later date in Saint John's Cemetery in Worcester, MA at the convenience of the family.
