CICCOLO, Leo B. - Of Watertown, formerly of Cambridge passed away on July 17, 2009 in his 101st year.
He was the beloved husband of the late Annie (Ragno) Ciccolo. Devoted father of Rose-Ann Ciccolo of Melrose and James L. Ciccolo & his wife Justine of Wakefield. Brother of Placido “Babe” Ciccolo of Belmont and the late Joseph P. Ciccolo and Bella Cappucci.
Leo was a Late US Army Veteran WWII Americal Division where he served in the Pacific Theater of Operations and participated in the Battle of Solomons, serving as a Rifleman. He was awarded an American Defense Service Ribbon, APTO Campaign Ribbon, and the Good Conduct Ribbon.
He was a member of Mt. Auburn VFW Post 8818 and the Sons of Italy Belmont Lodge 1094.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.
