Leo "Pete" Dean, 72, of Hot Springs died Friday January 13, 2012 in a local hospital. He was born in Lovelady, TX. on March 24, 1939 to the late Christopher C. & Lydia Louise Dean.

Leo was a member of National Park Church and was retired from Chem-Fab.

He was preceded in death by his loving bride, Marrion Dean; grandparents, Issac & Ida Dean; parents, Christopher & Lydia Dean; 2 brothers, Ronnie & John Dean; 2 sisters, Ruth Collins & Wanda Dean; brother-in-law, Robert Rowe; sister-in-law, Mary Rowe and 1 son, Freddie Hulsey.

Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, KayLynn & Mike Cook of Hot Springs; daughter & son-in-law, Brenda & Jeff Jordan; daughter & son-in-law, Stella & Cliff Sorter; son, James Hulsey of Shreveport, LA.; grandchildren, Elizabeth & Daniel Cook of Hot Springs, Brittany & Davis Forbes of Shreveport, LA. and Kayla Jordan of Hot Springs; sisters & brothers-in-laws, Mary & James Berwick of Livingston, TX., Linda & Ruff Petty of Crocket, TX., Joyce Dean of Phoenix, AZ. and Lillie May Jeffcoat of Liberty, TX. and 1 brother & sister-in-law, Jodi & Betty Dean.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday January 21 at National Park Church with Bro. David Hall officiating.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gross Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers include St. Joseph ICU Staff, Dr. Nizar Suleman, National Park Church, John Taylor, Eddie Marshall & Eddie Sharp.

Leo Dean was a simple man and was strong in his faith with a smile that he wore for everyone he met. Leo enjoyed his life to the fullest and he was The # 1 Price Is Right fan.
