Leo Francis Smith, age 52, of Taylor, passed away Saturday morning at home. Born in Philadelphia on New Year's Day, 1960, son of the late William and Eleanor Williams Smith, Leo had worked in construction until his recent illness. An Elvis Presley fan who enjoyed gambling in Atlantic City, you would often see Lee keeping fit by walking Taylor's Main Street. He will be dearly missed by those who loved him. He is survived by his children, his son, Leo White of Scranton, and his daughters, Amanda White of Scranton, and Jaclyn and Mary Margaret Smith, both with whom he resided; a brother, Paul Glitz; and two sisters, Paula Wellman and Phyllis Lee; three grandchildren, Julius, Jacob and Gabriel; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday at 11:00AM in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street in Old Forge. Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 9-11:00AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Leo's name may be made to his family, 332 South Main Street in Taylor.
