Services for Leon Prindle, 79, of Lubbock will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in Sanders Memorial Chapel with Reverend Dorrance Manning officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Sanders Funeral Home.

Mr. Prindle went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2011.

Leon was born July 22, 1931 in Seagraves, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Leon married Ruby Ross November 23, 1973 in Lubbock, TX. He was a self employed cabinet maker in the Lubbock and surrounding area. Leon was a member of the Nifty Fifty Car Club and attended the First Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Odie Leon Prindle, brother, William Earl Prindle and sister, Dorothy Griggs.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Ruby; daughter, Joni Coons and husband, Tommy; daughter, Mary Boone and husband, Larry; grandson, Floyd Prindle and wife, Jana; grandson, D.J. Parr and wife, Shelly; granddaughters, Amy and Emily Boone; great grandson, Casen Luke Prindle; sister, Blanch Tipton and husband, Bill; brother in law, Ira Griggs; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Interim Health Care Hospice.
