Leon Thomas Pratt, Sr., 75, of the 700 block of Ridge Circle, Chesapeake, VA, passed away June 30, 2011, in Chesapeake Regional Hospital. A native of Terrell County, NC, he was the son of the late Collins and Mary Pratt. He retired from Teamsters Local #822 as a Truck Driver. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Margaret A. Pratt; a daughter, Lisa A. Lawrence and husband Michael of Lakeville, MN; two sons, Leon T. Pratt, Jr. and wife Lisa and Walter E. Pratt and wife Barbra, both of Chesapeake, VA; a sister, Nora Jefferson of Norfolk, VA; five grandchildren, Michael Jr., Steven, Crystal, Leon III, and Eric; and a sister-in-law, Florence Guilliams. A private burial will be held for the family. The family will receive friends at the home of Walter Pratt, 513 Centerville Turnpike, Chesapeake Saturday, July 2, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel is handling the arrangements.
