Leslie Ann Hook, 16, of Mt. Airy, died Friday, September  11, 2009 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  Born December 15,  1992, in Gaithersburg, she was the daughter of Daniel G. and Nancy J. Hook of  Mt. Airy.  Leslie was in her junior year at Linganore High School.  She was an  avid horseback rider and was a very energetic and happy person. In addition to  her parents she is survived by a brother, Daniel G. Hook Jr. of Mt. Airy; a  sister, Lauren Macklin of Libertytown and a nephew, John Byrd.  A funeral  service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, September 17 at Free Spirit Stables,  9912 Masser Rd., Thurmont, with Pastor Kenny King officiating.  The service will  be immediately followed by a time of fellowship to celebrate Leslie's life.   Private interment will be in Linganore Cemetery, Unionville.  The family will  receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 11802 Liberty Rd., Libertytown 6:30  -8:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 16.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions  may be made to Free Spirit Stables, 9912 Masser Rd., Thurmont, MD 21788.
