Leslie Gail Sanderson Swift, of Washington, DC, entered into God's eternal care Thursday, August 16, 2012.
Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Walter B. Sanderson, Jr. and the late Juanita Hurd Sanderson. Survivors include her father, Walter B. Sanderson, Jr., her two daughters, Shayne A. Swift and Shannon A. Swift Hines, her brother, Walter B. Sanderson, III (Darlene), two grandsons, Brandon and Jalen Hines and a granddaughter, Savannah Petty, two nieces, Elizabeth L. Sanderson and Dalila H. Granger (Kevin), a nephew, Walter B. Sanderson, IV, and many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the National Capital Chapter of the MS Society.
