Ms Lila Mae Mattson

Lila Mae Mattson, 76, of Hot Springs, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011. Born March 21, 1935 in Ft. Crook, Nebraska to Harold Byron and Lora Mae Gehringer Gates, she was a former member of Glendale Baptist Church at Booneville, Arkansas and worked at BHDC for 15 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Edward Mattson and a daughter, Sue Walters.

Survivors include four sons, Curtis Krajicek of Ft. Smith, Doug Mattson of Quitman, John Mattson and Bobby Mattson, both of Booneville; four daughters, Holly Crise, Sandra Gilliand and Rhonda Tomlin, all of Hot Springs and Lucy Ray of Booneville; two sisters, Ida Enquist of Ottawa, Missouri and Eileen Chandler of Bellevue, Nebraska; twenty-one grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Monday with services at 11:00 a.m. at Gross Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Carney officiating. Inurnment of cremated remains will be in Nebraska at a later date.
