Lillian “Pat” Hamer
March 23, 1922 – May 18, 2011
Lillian “Pat” Hamer of Huntsville passed away Wednesday morning at Huntsville Hospital. Born in Fort Montgomery, N.Y. Mrs. Hamer and her husband and children moved to Huntsville in 1963. She worked for the government for many years until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband Warren Hamer, Sr. and 2 sons David and Robert Hamer.
She is survived by Warren Hamer Jr. and his wife Peggy, Skip and his wife Christina Hamer, Judith Hamer, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. One of her passions in her early years was bowling and even though she was no longer able, it did not stop her from watching her children bowl.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 until 8 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 pm at Valhalla Funeral home Chapel.
