Lillian (Quattrini) Peters, 86, loving wife of 58 years to Frank J. Peters of Windsor, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Oswego, New York, daughter of the late Henry and Pauline (Vona) Quattrini, Lillian grew up and lived in Oswego before moving to Windsor over 58 years ago. Prior to her retirement in 1985, Lillian was employed by the State of Connecticut, Department of Social Services for many years. She was a communicant of Saint Gabriel Church in Windsor and was a member of A.F.S.C.M.E. She was a caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Lillian is survived by her beloved children, Raymond Martin and his wife Susan of West Dover, VT, Susan Peters DeVito- Poirot and her husband Frank of Windsor, Nancy Peters Kinsley and her husband Bill of West Suffield and Diane Peters Madden and her husband John of Windsor and her six grandchildren, who she adored, Jennifer Martin, David McKemmie, Chaz, Carly, Ben and Christine DeVito. She was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Martin, a brother, Joseph Quattrini and a sister, Lena Murabito. Her family will receive friends for memorial calling hours on Monday, June 20, 2011 from 5-7 pm at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor, followed by a funeral service beginning at 7 pm. Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family.
