Funeral services for Lillie Mae (Paul) Story, 78, of Caldwell, are set for 11 a.m., Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, with Rev. Rick Sitton officiating. Interment will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Caldwell. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 20th also at the funeral home. Mrs. Story passed from this world March 18, 2013 in Bryan, Texas. Lillie Mae was born February 2, 1935 to Walter Paul and Albina Havel Paul in Caldwell, Texas. Lillie Mae was a member of SPJST. She and her husband owned a doughnut shop. She loved to read her bible and she loved her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and listening to Czech music. Her survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Rick Simmons of College Station, Betty and David Weiss of Montgomery, and Bonnie Story, Donnie Duran of Caldwell, six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy Joe; son, Billy James Story; grandson, Jason Allen Story; granddaughter, Robin Simmons; brothers, Walter Paul, Jr., Bill Paul, Oscar Paul, Henry Paul; sisters, Lillian Paul, Ella Paul Pettis, Dorothy Paul Hlavaty, Bessie Paul Kazmir, and Mary Paul Tindall. Pallbearers will be Donnie Duran, Corey Sims, Justin Story, James Story, Andy Ragnes, Kenny Paul, and Jeremiah Sims. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Strickland Funeral Home of Caldwell.
