Mrs. Lillie Marie Moore

Mrs.Lillie Marie Moore age 87 of Dallas, Texas passed away November 16, 2011. Born to Robert and Della Hawley on November 26, 1923 in Gladewater, Texas. She accepted Christ at a very early age at the St. James Baptist Church in Red Rock, Texas. Lillie had a zest for life!

Lillie met and married her husband C. M. Moore. They were one of the Founders of the St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. She served as the Mother of the Church, Deaconess, Mission Society, Sunday School Teacher and a Choir. She had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing. She was also a member of the General Grand Eastern Star Mason Sorority.

Lillie is preceeded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters; eight brothers; one son; and twin daughters.

She leaves to cherish her memories, eight children, Charles Moore, James Moore (Patsy), Billy Moore (Sheryl), Perry Moore (Yolanda), Joseph Moore (Debra), Ollie Campbell (Linzell), Dorothy Dunlap (Robert), and Wilmer Brown (Charles); one son-in-law, L.B. Frazier; one sister, Wilma Snoddy (Leo); one brother, Donnie Brook (Mary); 16 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; a very special friend, Apostle Mattie Bradfield; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
