Linda Ann Slack, age 71 of Bryant, Arkansas entered into eternal life with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 17, 2011. She was born on December 9, 1939 in Jefferson, Texas to the late Pete and Dorothy Henderson. Linda was a faithful member of Park Place Baptist Church in Bryant, Arkansas where she attended services regularly until her recent illness.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years Mastin Slack; two daughters, Jo Anne Hill (Steven) of Conway, AR and Dianne Alexander (Kevin) of Claremore, OK; one son Mike Slack of Jefferson, TX; one brother Peter Henderson (Janis) of Jefferson, TX and one sister Carolyn Jowell of Woodlands, TX; nine grandchildren who lovingly called her “Mam maw” and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, AR (501) 455-1067 with Reverend Bill Phillips and Reverend Gary Lambright officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. A visitation will be 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the funeral home.
