Linda Jean Davies Edwards Seeley, a longtime resident of Orange County passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 68 years old.
Linda was born on September 10,1943 in New Jersey to Charles F. Davies Sr. and Evelyn Ann (Mame) Davies.
Linda was a past member of the Circleville Fire Department Ladies Auxilary, Town of Wallkill Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and the Bloomingburg Fire Department Ladies Auxilary. She retired from being a Bus Monitor for Tri Star Transportation, Middletown and had been a Manager of Kentucky Fried Chicken in Port Jervis. She will be remembered for her love of children, both her own and the many othei children that were part of her life.
Linda is survived by her husband of thirty one years Jon R Seeley at home. She is also survived by her children Lori Emma Barker and her husband Jay of Wurtsboro,NY Brenda Lee Champagne and her husband Paul of Wurtsboro, NY Brian Keith Edwards and his wife Lillian of Toms River, NJ, Richard Jon Edwards and companion Kathy Rodriguez of Huguenot, NY and Kevin James Edwards and his wife Marie of Monroe, NY. She was predeceased by her children John Henry Edwards, Henry John Edwards and Georgia Ann Edwards. Linda is also survived by her grandchildren Mallorie Edwards of Little Egg Harbor NJ, Kaitlyn Champagne of Wurtsboro, NY, Christopher Champagne of Wurtsboro, NY, Mitchell Edwards of Toms River NJ, Tiffany Barker of Wurtsboro, NY, Deidra Greathouse of Zephyr Hills FL Samantha Edwards of Monroe, NY, Jeremy Edwards of Monroe, NY and Kaitlin Rodriguez Eckenrod of Waterloo, lA and her great grandson Brayden Eckenrod of Waterloo, IA.
Linda is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Charles F Davies Jr of Smallwood NY, Carol Barschow of Putnam CT, John Davies of Pine Bush NY and George Davies of Jim Thorpe PA, brothers and sisters-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday June 12, 2012 from 7-9 PM at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
Services wednesday June 13, 2012 at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery Phillipsburg, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bloomingburg Fire Co. Ladies Auxilliary.
