Linda Lacey Kellerhouse of Longview, Texas, passed away January 31, 2010, one day before her 72nd birthday. Linda was born to Dick Grayson Lacey and Margaret Thomas Lacey in 1938 in Kosciusko, Mississippi. After earning her Bachelor of Science Degree from Mississippi State College for Women in 1960, she moved to Dallas, TX, where she married Roy Weaver Boyd in 1964. They had two children. Linda enjoyed creating a warm, happy, fun home for her family. Roy passed away in 1982, and she remarried to Richard Alan Kellerhouse in 1988. Eleven years later, they moved to Longview. Linda was a treasured member of First Lutheran, where she actively participated in the Stephen's Ministry. She is survived by her husband, Richard Kellerhouse; daughter, Marcy Rhodes, and her husband David of Longview, TX; daughter, Kathy Boyd of Orlando, Florida; cherished grandson, Lance Wyatt, Jr., of College Station; sister, Kay Lacey Ward and her husband, Charles, of Eupora, Mississippi; and, half-brother, Dr. Peeler Grayson Lacey of Laurel, Mississippi. Linda's life inspires us to give selflessly, to love unconditionally, and to trust in the goodness and faithfulness of God and His gift of eternal life through his Son, Jesus Christ. Funeral services will be Tuesday February 2, 2010 at 10:00 am at the 1st Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends Monday evening at Rader Funeral Home in Longview 6 to 8pm for visitation. In her honor, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
