Linda Lorfing, 61, of Baytown passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at her home in Baytown. She was born March 31, 1951 in Macon, Georgia to her late parents, Henry and Pauline Gandy. She had lived in Baytown for the last 28 years and was retired from Arco after 12 years of service. Her favorite activity was being a grandmother to her 11 grandchildren. Linda also enjoyed traveling and reading. Survivors include: husband Galyn Lorfing; sons, Herbert Lorfing and his wife Ashley, Randy Lorfing and his wife Elizabeth, Russell Lorfing and his wife Jess; daughter, Rachel Ward and her husband John; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 3, 2012 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor James Coffee officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 P. M. at Shiloh Cemetery in Shiloh, Texas.
