Linda S. Wiltfong , 61, of LaPorte, Indiana, died Monday January 17, 2011 at La Porte Hospital, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born February 28, 1949 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Billy Joe Naegele and Alberta (Schultz) Naegele. Linda had been a bartender for Little Tavern & Ogles for thirty years and also worked at Wal-Mart for three years. She was a member of Polish Falcons. Linda was on a bowling league and pool league for many years, she enjoyed playing and watching golf, and was an avid Cubs fan. Linda was a people person, she loved everyone and they loved her. On February 29, 2000, in Las Vegas, NV, she married Robert Wiltfong who survives. She is also survived by her father, Billy Joe Naegele of Kingsford Heights, IN. son - David (Theresa) Lubs of Rolling Prairie, IN; daughter - Marci (Kara Alwine) Lubs of Nappanee, IN; three step-sons - Richard (Chris) Wiltfong of LaPorte, IN, Robert (Tracy) Wiltfong of Michigan City, IN, Thomas (Debbie) Wiltfong of La Porte, IN; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister - Debbie (Doug) Wilhelm of La Porte, IN; two brothers - Edward Naegele of NY, John (Dee) Naegele of Kingsford Heights, IN; one step-brother, John Tubbs of Kingsford Heights, IN, one brother-in-law - William Wiltfong of La Porte, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her; mother, Alberta Naegele; step-mother, Shirley Naegele; daughter, Susan E. Lubs, one sister, and two brothers. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Friday, January 21, 2011 form 10:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home on Friday January 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. Ashes will be emtombed in Pine Lake Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the - Relay for Life
