Linda Sue Nevels

Linda Sue Nevels, 62, of Higginsville, Missouri died on Friday, August 10, 2012, at her home in Higginsville, Missouri.

Born Friday, November 25, 1949 in Higginsville, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Charles Mueller and the late Viola Lemler Mueller.

Linda was a 1967 graduate of Lexington High School. She lived most of her life in Higginsville and worked in the laundry at the Higginsville Habilitation Center before retiring in 2007. She married Lee E. Nevels on July 4, 1969; he preceded her in death on June 1, 2003. Also preceded in death was one infant brother.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Surviving are son, Derek (Lisa) Nevels of Corder, MO, daughters, DeAnn (Chris) Dillon of Higginsville, MO and Denise (Freddie) Limback of Alma, MO, 3 brothers; Charles Mueller of Warrensburg, MO, Wayne Mueller of Marshall, MO and Robert Mueller of Warrensburg, MO, one sister, Margaret Meyer of Concordia, MO; and 5 grand children.

A funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church located at 1501 Lipper St. Higginsville, Missouri with the Pastor Marcus Jauss officiating. Interment will be in City Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Pallbearers are Jeremy Nevels, Curtiss Nevels, Terry Wade, Samuel Dillon, Warren Hawthorne and Keith White.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, August 13, 2012, at Hoefer Funeral Home, 1600 Main St., Higginsville, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be sent to Immanuel Lutheran Church1500 Main St. Higginsville, MO 64037or to the Letholt Dialysis Clinic.
