Linda Sue Saiz Becerra was born in Oxnard on January 30, 1985 and passed away on December 28, 2010 in Los Angeles with her loving family at her side. She was 25.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Jayleine Becerra, her mother, Adeline Corona Garcia, and her sisters and brother, Susan Martinez (husband Sergio), Stephanie Saiz, Victoria Garcia and Steven Saiz, Grandparents, Cruz & Natividad Corona, Aunts and Uncle, Alice Corona, Jackie Gonzales (husband Ray) and Mark Corona & numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by her Grandfather, Frank Nunez Saiz.

Linda lived her entire life in Oxnard among her family. She was a loving and devoted Mommy, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and cousin. She attended Channel Islands High School.

Our family would like to extend our gratitude for the care and support provided by the Ventura County Medical Center ICU staff and the UCLA Medical Center ICU & Liver Transplant Team. Our special thanks go out to Dr. Michelle Yates whose devotion to Linda’s care has touched our hearts beyond words.

In the last weeks of Linda’s life she fought bravely and courageously. Her source of strength was her love for her beautiful Jayleine. In this time, her family sat at her side, held her hand and prayed over her. She is now at peace and her soul is at rest in the glory of God and free from the burden she bore. We love you Linda. You are now Jayleine’s beautiful guardian angel.
