Lisa Nicole Allen, 22, of the 2200 block of Churchill Dr., Chesapeake, VA, passed away on December 28, 2011. Born in Gaithersburg, MD, Lisa worked for Chili's Restaurant and attended Sonlight Church of Chesapeake. She is survived by her parents, Calvin and Kathleen Allen of Chesapeake, VA; maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Barton of Myrtle Beach, SC; paternal grandparents, Willie and Annie Allen of Landover, MD; two brothers, Calvin "CJ" Allen, Jr. of Chesapeake, VA and Christopher Allen of Atlanta, GA. She was predeceased by a son, Abel Allen. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Great Bridge Presbyterian Church where the family will receive friends the hour prior. Pastor Hershel Adams will be officiating. Burial will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be offered to Sonlight Church Benevolent Fund, 135 Hanbury Rd. West Suite B, Chesapeake, VA 23322.
