Lloyd Anderson was born June 17, 1924 to Robert and Mattie Nobles Anderson in Bastrop County, Texas. He attended the Cottonwood Public Schools. Lloyd accepted Christ at an early age at Cottonwood Baptist Church. Later he united with Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was united in Holy matrimony to Myrtle Owens. Lloyd worked many years at Peals Potato Chip Company. Later he wored and retired from the University of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Mae Katherine Anderson, step daughter Carolyn Hill, sisters Margie Harris, Sally Horton, Bertha Wilson and Ethel Thompson, brothers George Anderson and Eugene Anderson. Lloyd entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 26, 2012 at St. David's medical Center. Survivors include one sister Iva Henry; one brother Samuel Anderson; two sisters-in-law Nettie Smothers and Joyce Darby; three brothers-in-law Joe Owens, Leroy Owens, Maurice owens; son-in-law Rev. Eddie Hill; four grandchildren; and a nost of nieces, nephews, special nephew Kenneth Henry; other relatives and friends.
