The parents of Lois Ann Waller, Albert and Martha (Atkinson) Waller, were overjoyed when on December 5, 1935 they finally gave birth to a baby girl, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. The family moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and later to Kansas City Kansas. Then they arrived in St. Louis, Missouri in the late 1940's. Lois had three brothers: Albert Jr., Robert, and Paul, who preceded her in death and a sister, Dorothy, who died at birth. Lois was a very faithful, caring daughter who took excellent care of her mother for several years until her death. Lois fell asleep in death on January 12, 2012 at 7:21 a.m. at Delmar Gardens of Creve Coeur, MO Nursing Facility. Lois finished Washington Technical High School in St. Louis, MO in 1953. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Education at Harris Teachers College and taught Elementary School until she retired. In the early 1980's, Lois studied the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses and soon dedicated her life to her Creator, Jehovah God, and was baptized on October 5, 1985. She faithfully served until illness hindered her. She even had the privilege of sharing in full-time service for more than a full year in September 1995 until November 1996. That is, she served ninety (90) hours each month for one year in the field of ministry, our Bible education work. Lois will be missed by her spiritual sisters and brothers and her family members. We look forward to the earthly resurrection of all faithful ones. (Acts 24:15, John 5:28-29, Isaiah 25:8). This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Lois Waller.
