Lonnetta Lashawn McCollum was born on August 14, 1977 in Paterson, New Jersey to Deborah McCollum and Pernell Applewhite, Sr. She was called home on February 3, 2012 at 8:19 p.m. Our dearly beloved Lonnetta, also known as "Fattie", enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to play Monopoly and Trouble and she listened to all types of music. Lonnetta graduated from Martin Luther King, in addition, to attending Silk City Partners LLC in Paterson, New Jersey. She was called home to join hands with her maternal grandparents, James and Sarah Jackson and her paternal grandparents, Leroy and Eulamae Applewhite, her little brother, Ronald Keith McCollum, Jr., cousin, Katrele J. Greene and her stepfather, Ronald Keith McCollum, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory: her prince, Nyair Jones and two princesses, Kayla McCollum and Justice Allah from Paterson, New Jersey. Lonnetta has five brothers, Jashawn Greene (Khalilah) from Jersey City, New Jersey, Elijah and Isaiah Jones and Deshawn Nelson all from Paterson, New Jersey and Pernell Applewhite, Jr.; her mother, Deborah McCollum of Paterson, New Jersey. She also has four sisters, Tanisha McCollum of Paterson, New Jersey, Sylvia Young of Wildwood, New Jersey, Tracey Clemon and Kylove Applewhite; her godsister, Natalie McFadden of Paterson, New Jersey and her sister/best friend, Charnie Forbes of Paterson, New Jersey. She has four nieces, Meshon, Attiya, Dantasia and Emoni; three nephews, Jashawn, Jr., Jalil and Daniel III; Godmother, Mildred Reid; Godfather, Lonnie Webb; aunts, Denise Greene and Karen Pearson of Paterson, New Jersey; uncles, Lloyd Greene, Jr., Perry Lemmon, Anthony McCaskill and Reggie Bennett; her four first cousins, Kenyone, Danisha, Danitra and Bianca; special cousins, Montanasia Greene as she would say her baby "MoMo"; her companion, Jamie Wilson; and a host of many more cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
