Loraine J. Branham, 71, of Ironton, passed away Sunday (March 14, 2010) at her residence. The Marengo, Ohio native was born July 13, 1938, the daughter of the late Scott and Clara Dehart Varney. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Louden Branham, who passed away August 16, 1996.

Mrs. Branham attended school in Marengo, Ohio and was a former deli worker at Tipton's Bakery and Supermarket in Ironton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by:
a son: Ernie Branham
2 sisters: Ernestine Horlocker and Rose Swartz

She is survived by:
2 sons: Danny Branham of South Point and Mark Branham of Ironton
a daughter and son-in-law: Barbara and Joe Merritt of Niota, TN
2 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday (March 17, 2010) in Hecla Cemetery with Brother David Ashworth officiating.There will be no public visitation.
