Lorna Marie (Kroenke) Loeschen, the daughter of Albert and Anna (Ellie) Kroenke was born October 22, 1922, in Dolliver, Iowa. Lorna passed away, Monday, January 23, 2012, at the Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 89.

She received her education in the rural country schools.

On May 5, 1942, Lorna was united in marriage to Carl Loeschen in Estherville. Following their marriage, the couple made their home in Estherville. Lorna was employed at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Estherville for twenty-two years. Carl passed away April 9, 2005.

She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, ladies guild and circle. Lorna was also a member of the VFW Auxilliary.

Left to cherish Lorna's memory are her children, Larry Loeschen and his wife, Susan of Estherville; Karen Jordan of East Bethel, Minnesota; Charles Loeschen and his wife, Jane of Sand Point, Idaho; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; her siblings, Ed Kroenke of Estherville; Arlene Johansen of Terril; and Marlene Woltz of Waverly.

She has been preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Mildred Pierce; brothers, Walter and Henry; and sister, Lorraine Richard.
