Lorraine Anita Dallaire, left this world on December 23, 2011, to join members of her family at God's table never again to feel pain and suffering only felt here on earth. In the book of Proverbs 31 King Lemuel describes what his mother taught him. In it he describes our mother and wife; :11 Her husband has full confidence in her, :27 She watches over the affairs of her household, :28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband praises her. A Navy wife who did it all during long separations, to a loving mother who bandaged our cuts and bruises, she leaves us as King Lemuel states in :31 Give her the reward she has earned. She is survived by her husband, Ret. Navy Captain Richard Dallaire; her daughter, Karen Rogers and husband Jimmy; her son, Ret. Navy Commander Steven Dallaire and wife Stephanie; two brothers, Norman and Ronald Rocheleau and grandchildren, Kevin, Brian and Abby Dallaire and Shannon, Sean and Colleen Rogers. Pre-deceased by a son, David J. Dallaire. The family would like to send a special thank you for all the special care Lorraine received from Heartland Hospice and nurses and staff of Pacifica Assisted Living. A memorial mass will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Gabler officiating. She will be entombed in the Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
