Time spent together was never a dull moment. The Dallaires always took time to visit. We were very proud & honored to have them make the journey to Newport, RI to attend our Wedding in 1999.We enjoyed so much for them to be there. It was especially comforting to see them in 2006, in Dover, NH. They visited my Mom, who at that time was cared for in a nursing home. It was so very nice to see them! We will always love & cherish the fond thoughts & memories of Aunt Lorraine, & all that she was, may the Lord bless her & keep her in the hollow of his hands Tim & Lavern Spillane Kapolei,HI

We first met Lorraine and Dick at the Harbor Club in Norfolk where Karen and Jimmy introduced us prior to their wedding in 1987. It was friendship at first sight and we have enjoyed being with them over the years, dinners and golf outings and family gatherings. Lorraine was, as everyone knows, a great lady and she will be missed beyond words. God Bless her, God Bless Dick and her wonderful family.

Dick and Lorraine became my Virginia "Mom & Dad" soon after I moved into the condo below them. My biological parents are from Hudson MA so there was much in Dick & Lorraine to remind me of my parents. Lorraine was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside - and the outside was pretty amazing! Their love for each other was an inspiration for me. My heartfelt condolences to Dick and his family and Lorraine's family and friends. Lorraine gave much to this world and will be missed.

Our families have crossed paths many times over the years, sharing joys and sorrow. Please know that there are others who care about you and share in the loss that you feel. Peggy, Dean and families

To Dick & Family: we are deeply saddened by Lorraine's passing. Since we met in 1972 in Sasebo and throughout the years, Lorraine was always the stellar model for us for devotion to family, and all in the Navy community and beyond who were uplifted by her graciousness and example. She was a wonderful human being, and we'll miss her terribly.

Dick and Ray were high school classmates and Dick was Ray's best man (even though he forgot it) ??????? On the other hand, Ray thought he had been Dick's best man (even though he wasn't at Dick's wedding because he was in the Navy) ?????????????? Thru all
