Lorraine M. (Guilmette) Dion, 86, passed away September 4, 2011 after a brief illness. Her husband of 39 years, Leo Dion passed away in 1986. Lorraine is survived by her daughters Jeanne Moriarty and her husband Jeff, Annette Stratton and her husband Rick, Theresa Bell and her husband Craig and son Richard Dion and his wife Heidi. Lorraine also leaves her grandchildren Charlotte, Stephanie, Carey, Steven, Michele and Brad and great-grandchildren Lexi, Ben, Aloura, Mia and Anna along with her sister Juliette Girardin and several nieces and nephews. Her sons James and Gerard Dion and sister Evelyn Koliss predeceased her. Lorraine was born October 2, 1924 in Grafton, daughter of the late Ernestine (Vincent) and Victor Guilmette. While she worked later in life for many years Lorraine proudly provided a loving and happy home while raising her 6 children with her husband Leo. Lorraine treasured the simple joys of life; going out to dinner, taking day trips with her sister Juliette or enjoying a game show on TV. She was also a devoted parishioner of her beloved St. James Church in Grafton. In lieu of flowers her family requests memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105 or online at www.StJude.org. CALLING HOURS & FUNERAL MASS All are invited to calling hours for Lorraine Tuesday September 6th from 4pm to 8pm at RONEY FUNERAL HOME 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton MA 01536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday September 7th at 10:30am at St. James Church 89 Main St. S. Grafton MA 01560. All attending her Funeral Mass are politely requested to go directly to church. She will then be laid to rest with her husband Leo at Fairview Cemetery in Grafton.
