Lorraine Sassman, 86, of Plainsboro passed away Thursday in the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Massachusetts, Lorraine was a longtime resident of Plainsboro and member of Queenship of Mary Church. She retired after 20 years of employment, as a secretary, with Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation of Princeton. She is survived by her husband, George W. Sassman; two sons and daughers-in-law, James and Marion Sassman, and Kevin and Diane Sassman; three grandsons, James Sassman, Jr. and his wife Vanessa, and Daniel and Patrick Sassman; three great-granddaughters, Breanna, Korri and Ashlin; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held 10am Tuesday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ. Interment will follow in Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury, NJ. Family and friends may call 7-9pm Monday at the funeral home.
