Lorrine Bourgeois Griffin on Monday, January 16, 2012 while in St. Louis, MO passed into everlasting peace at age 89. A native of Verdunville, La. and a long time resident of New Orleans. Wife of the late Thomas A. Griffin and the late Dudley D. Verdun. Daughter of the late Albert Bourgeois and Bessie Pellerin Bourgeois. Beloved mother of Tracy T. Griffin and Gina C. Griffin the late Cynthia Verdun Dejan and the late Elaine A. Verdun. Sister of Shelby (Marguerite) Bourgeois, Marie (Bill) Verdun, Merlin Bourgeois, Betty (Jay) Nelson, Thomas (Margie) Bourgeois and the late Theresa Bourgeois, David Bourgeois, Alfred (Bobbi) Bourgeois, Howard (Francis) Bourgeois, Shirley (Murphy) Walker, Albert (Alberta) Bourgeois. Beloved grandmother of Allen Dejan Jr. She will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 980 Verdunville, Rd. Centerville, La. on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in All Saints Mausoleum in New Orleans, La.
